REUSE OLD TABLE LEGS

This café in Berlin-Neukölln was one of my first clients. Even though hardly anyone notices, the café is still being furnished with new furniture. And that is what I love so much about working with the owners: the joy of breathing new life into old and valuable pieces of furniture or rethinking and redesigning well-preserved objects.

Restaurants with large outdoor terraces know how much time and effort it takes to set up, dismantle and secure these terraces. That's why we thought about practical aspects first and foremost. Folding mechanisms for benches and tables really make the conversion easier. After the practical challenges, we came back to the aesthetic aspects that needed a solution. And that's exactly what I'm excited about.
